The Smart Sensor Node (SSN) Unit is a general-purpose sensor node designed for educational and industrial applications. Equipped with 6 analog, 4 digital and 2 PWM IOs, users can select their own transducer and signal conditioner units. For example, when used as a vibration sensor unit, the SSN can be programmed to run Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), and/or Artificial Neural Network (ANN) applications to analyse the collected data and extract actionable information for decision making. The SSN also communicates with the sink node using a LoRa physical layer protocol.
Note: Sensors and signal conditioners are not included.
